The start of a new year is the perfect time to pause, dream, and imagine all the possibilities ahead. But perhaps we need a little prodding, or a few suggestions, to get our brains into gear…

That’s what this Dream It – Do It! template is for!

Use the list of suggestions to brainstorm things you’d like to do as a family, on your own, or with friends.

There’s no “right” way to use this list. Plan for a year, a month, a week, or even just today. The goal is to notice and think about what sparks excitement, curiosity, or joy, and then plan to make the space and time to actually do it.

Just for fun — and as an example — I filled out my Dream It Do It! list with my grandkids in mind. Now that I look through it, I’m going to do my utmost to make those things happen. I could think of no better way to spend my year making these dreams come true!

Think of this activity as a gentle nudge to start the year with intention. Fill it out by yourself, as I did, or sit down with your children and have fun imagining together all the things you could for each list item.

Dream big, try new things, and make memories that matter! This isn’t a homeschool checklist; it’s a tool to help you discovering what lights up your life and love of learning. The aim is welcome the year with curiosity, creativity, and a spirit of “yes, let’s try that!”
